Captain Aaron says:

I have started running the Gale Force in 2011 and during the spring of 2013 purchased the business. When I heard Gale Force Charters needed a Captain in the spring of 2011, I retired from a 35 year career with the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife.  During my time as an Enforcement Agent and a Captain for the southern half of Delaware, fishing, hunting, and boating safety were my focus.  Because of my experience, I am uniquely qualified to keep you and your party safe, while sharing the bounty of Delaware’s outdoors with you.  As a native of Sussex county, my passion for fishing began as a young boy while fishing the Delaware and Inland bays.  I will take you to the fishing areas that produce good catches and will provide a quality trip that you will enjoy.  Let’s go fishing!

The Mate: Your Secret Weapon
One of the most important aspects of the Charter experience is the boat’s Mate. Your Mate is Jimmy Coffiey and if you ask around Indian River Inlet the locals will tell you that he’s one of the most experienced young men fishing the area. He’s grown up in DE and lived every summer at the beach fishing the Inland Bays, Inlet, and Ocean. He has a sixth sense about fish and is excellent at relating fishing skills to others. He works very hard for you prior to the trip collecting baits, during the trip keeping everyone rigged and in the game, and afterward cleaning/reorganizing. He works for tips so please look after him in that regard.

The customary tip is 20% of the charter cost.
